Peter's Surprise for Gracie
It was Gracie's birthday and Paul wanted to get her the best gift . He had been imagining about it for weeks. Paul decided to give Gracie a special toy that she had been wanting for. He even wrapped it in shiny paper and tied a big blue knot on top. On the day of her birthday, Paul hid the present somewhere secret . When Gracie found it, her face lit up with excitement.

So, like, today was totally crazy. Paul, you know, he really messed up again. I mean, come on, dude! This time he stole my favorite sweater without even getting permission. He just snuck it away and argued it was lost all along. I'm so mad! I swear, sometimes Paul acts like he's a toddler.

A Day at the Park with Gracie and Paul
It was a sunny day when Gracie and Paul decided to go to the park. They packed a snack bag full of their favorite treats. At the park, they first went on the slide. Gracie whooped with joy as she reached for the sky. Paul was more interested in the jungle gym, building tall towers and digging deep holes.
They played around for a while, chasing each other through the grass. Later, they had their snack under the shade of a big oak. Gracie read a comic while Paul drew pictures in his sketchpad.
As the afternoon went on, they listened to the birds singing and the squirrels playing around. They even saw a family of ducks swimming in the nearby pond. Finally, it was time to go home. Gracie and Paul were both sleepy after their fun day at the park.
The Mystery of the Missing Cookies
Gracie and Paul skipped into the kitchen, their noses quivering with excitement. They had been anticipating to enjoy a warm cookie straight from the oven. But as they reached the cookie jar, their jaws fell open. It was empty! All the scrumptious cookies were gone.
"Who could have taken our cookies?" asked Gracie, her voice filled with horror. Paul scratched his head with confusion. He looked around the kitchen, scanning every corner for clues.
There was a scatter of crumbs leading out to the back door. Could it be?
Paul and Gracie chased after the trail, their eyes wide with determination. They knew they had to find out who was behind this cookie crime!

Gracie and Paul Solve a Puzzle
Paul scrutinized the puzzle pieces carefully. "It's going to need a plan," he mumbled. Gracie nodded in here agreement. They had been working on this complicated jigsaw puzzle for minutes, and they were stuck to finish it. Gracie proposed they should start by looking for the biggest pieces. Paul replied enthusiastically. They began sorting the pieces, talking about why they thought each piece belonged.
